Cajan Chicken Pasta

This pic is not clear but this might be one of my new favorite pastas.
 Mince or press 3-4 cloves of garlic and put in a skillet with a little oil.
 Chop up some chicken breasts.
 
Place in hot skillet on medium heat and cook with garlic for a couple min on each side.

 
Season with about a teaspoon of Cajun spice
 

 When thoroughly cooked remove form pan
 Keep pan hot and add some mushroom to hot skillet.
 Cook mushrooms add more oil if needed.


 Finely chop a red pepper. lop off top and bottom and remove seeds and membrane and lay flat.  Cut into sticks and then cut the sticks into cubes.
 Add peppers to mushrooms
 Dice up 1/2 onion
 Add to skillet
 Cook until most of the moisture is gone
 Add the chicken back to skillet add more seasoning to taste
 My skillet was too small so I but the chicken veggie mixture into the pot where I cooked the pasta.
 Add 1 cup of cream and simmer
 Place linguini in the mixture
 Stir in about 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and stir until melted
Spritz with lemon and enjoy
