Lemon Meringue Pie

Here's what you need for the pie crust.  Crisco( not butter) flour, cold water, white vinegar, and an egg
Take three cups of flour
Take a 1 2/2 cups of Crisco
Use a pastry cutter to mix
Mix until it is pea sized pieces

Take an egg
Beat the egg
Add egg
add 5 tablespoons of cold water
add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
add a teaspoon of salt
mix together
divide into freezer bags and flatted
freeze for 15-20 min to firm up if using right away if not leave in freezer and thaw for 15 min before using

 remove from the bag and flour on both sides
roll out until desired size and thickness
fold in half
use metal spatula to place on pie pan
unfold and patch
crimp and trim tnd bake for 10-15 min at 350


Pie recipe
3 cups flour
5 tablespoons of cold water
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of salt 1 1/2 cups of Crisco
1 egg

now for the lemon part
 here's what you need cornstarch, water, butter, lemon, eggs and sugar
mix 1 1/2 cups of sugar, 6 table spoons of cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon of salt
 zest a lemon and set aside and start some water to boil
I used fresh lemon juice but you can use bottled you need 1/2 cup
add 1/2 cup of cold water and lemon juice
separate yolks and whites you need two white from the meringue and three yolks for the lemon part
add beaten yolks and 2 tablespoons of butter
mix
add 1 1/2 cups of boiling water
 simmer until it thickens
stir in lemon zest
pour into pie shell

Lemon recipe
1 `/2 cups of sugar
6 tablespoons of cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup lemon juice
lemon zest
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup cold water
1 1/2 cup of boiling water

Meringue

Here's what you need 2 egg whites, cream of tartar, and sugar (the salt isn't suppose to be there)
beat room temperature eggs until frothy

 add 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar
beat until peeks bend
beat in sugar
spread onto pie bake 325 10-15 min or until it looks toasted

Meringue Recipe
2 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar
3 teaspoons of sugar
